PROJECT SUPPORT CATEGORY

If you are looking for an opportunity to bring your documentary idea to life, TRT International Documentary Awards, Project Support Category it’s for you!

This competition is organized to encourage production in the field of documentary film and to provide support to creative directors and producers. Projects at the idea and story stage, whose construction has not yet begun, can participate in the competition.

Application Dates:

20 August – 3 October 2025

(Online application + wet signed form must be sent by mail)

Who Can Apply?

The competition is only open to Turkish citizens can participate. Original and feasible projects in documentary format are evaluated. Structures such as TV programs and promotional films are not accepted.

Election Process:

The projects are evaluated in two stages (pre-selection + presentation) by expert jury members.

Reward:

The three finalist and winner projects will receive 100,000 TL support per project.
